Services - Quantity Surveying

McCauls Chartered Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers provide the following Quantity Surveying services:

Full Quantity Surveying Services:

• Pre-Contract Services
• We provide budget estimates at the inception and feasibility stage.
• Outline Cost Plans are prepared for the various design options and a detailed Cost Plan will be prepared for Client approval which will identify/confirm the limits of expenditure.
• Detailed design/procurement documentation will be prepared in the form of a Bill of Quantities / Schedule of Rates and will form part of the tender documentation which will be issued.
• Tender evaluations and Reports.
• Post-Contract Services
• Our role is to maintain and manage cost control of the project by:
• Monitoring the works on site on a regular basis.
• Providing cost advice when required for change orders / variations.
• Assisting the design team with any cost queries.
• Attendance at site meetings and preparation of Financial Review Reports.
• Final Account
• Preparation and agreement of the Final Account.

Mechanical and Electrical cost control:

• McCauls have wide experience of Mechanical and Electrical Services.

Supervision

• McCauls retain building and M+E Clerks of Works that can be made available to clients if required. In the past we have provided these services to both Public and Private Clients.
